PERSONAL GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES

 

Vacation Bible School. VBS is for children ages 3 through 6th grade to learn about Jesus Christ in a week-long program in the summer. Volunteer to host a Mt. Cross counselor, host a dinner at your house or volunteer to teach or assist with crafts, snacks, songs, or the Mt. Cross team. It is lots of fun!!

SMALL GROUPS

 

Confirmation: Trinity assists parents in training up a child in the way he or she should go (Proverbs 22:6). This class aids parents in nurturing and modeling the life of Christ to and in their children. Also, the Lord’s Supper Seminar is offered for parents and those age 10 and up.

Small Groups have the basic goal of helping one another grow one step closer in your walk with Jesus. Be intentional. Meet with someone weekly to encourage and build one another up in Christ.

Life Transformation Groups. An LTG is 2-3 men or 2-3 women gathering around God’s Word each week to encourage and build one another up in Christ—growing in Christ-like maturity and freedom. The LTG pamphlet in the entryway narthex describes the process in more detail.

Worship Assistants serve in leading God’s people through the worship service: reading Scripture, presenting the prayers, and serving Holy Communion at either service.

Children’s Church is for all children 3 years old up to 5th grade to grow in their knowledge and love of our Triune God. Sunday mornings after the 9:00 am worship Gospel reading. You can help by leading the children in worship and activities; it’s simple and only one Sunday every couple of months.

BIBLE STUDIES

 

Sunday Bible Study with the pastors at 8:00 am in the Fellowship Hall.

The Lord’s Supper Seminar is a look at the multitude of riches God gives at the Lord’s Table. A better grasp of the Bible’s teachings will help you fully experience all that God wants to give you in Holy Communion. The Seminar is offered a few times each year on Sundays from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. It is open to everyone ages 10 and up. Let the church office know you’re interested. Bethel Series Adult Bible Study Class is led by trained lay teachers in an intensive survey through the entire Bible in two years. You can’t really appreciate the New Testament until you understand the Old Testament; this course ties them together for you.

Stephen Ministers are trained to provide confidential one-to-one spiritual and emotional care, support, and encouragement to anyone experiencing a crisis or tragedy in their life through attentive, active listing and a caring presence.

Church Organization Task Forces

The Mission & Ministry Council operates on behalf of the congregation as Pastor Rowe’s accountability team. The MMC develops and monitors policy that helps our congregation stay focused on our mission of making disciples of all nations.

The Endowment Task Force works with Pastor Rowe in overseeing the endowment funds, distributing the funds as part of Trinity’s mission, and raising awareness of the opportunities to give through the Endowment Fund.

The Facilities Supervisor oversees the maintenance of our buildings to ensure that they are well-maintained, safe, and functional for our ongoing ministries at 940 Creston Road.

Grounds Maintenance Supervisor oversees the care of our grounds so that they are aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained. 

The Church-School Family Connection Team helps bring together our church and school families.

The Visitation/Homebound Ministry Team visits sick or homebound people, bringing God’s love through singing hymns, praying or reading God’s Word to them. The Ministry Advisory Team assists Pastor Rowe in maintaining the overall health of the congregation and the staff.

The School Advisory Team assists Pastor Rowe in making sure our school is in compliance with State Law and our own policies.
